Coach - Kari Lollar

Kari holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications and was a Personnelist in the United States Air Force Reserve for 4 years. Kari is currently a stay at home mom and has been a member of Crossfit Unknown Element since 2016, where she decided to expand her passion for crossfit and receive her Level 1 this past year. Kari also enjoys spending time with her family, outdoor activities and traveling, and a good dance off when she gets a chance.

Coach - Kristi Fraze

Kristi joined the CFUE family as an athlete in the Fall of 2017 and quickly fell in love with CrossFit and the CFUE community. After some convincing from her coaches, she participated in our internship program and following the completion of that got her CrossFit Level 1 in January 2020. She has been a crucial part of the team since! Her greatest passion is to make those around her laugh and have a great time even in the midst of an intense workout.

Kristi is also a mom of 4 and enjoys spending time watching her kiddos sporting and rodeoing activities.

Andre grew up in the foothills of the San Gabriel mountains in Southern California hiking & exploring the surrounding canyons & arroyos. His first athletic passion was cross country after catching a documentary on African long distance runners in the 6th grade & if anything can make his day it’s a CrossFit WOD with a running component (even in the wind & rain).

During his time away from the gym, Andre keeps busy managing his family’s real estate business, reading across a broad range of subjects & helping his black lab gain a richer understanding of the concept of time (we’re making progress).

Coach - Missy Hardin

Coach Missy has been with CFUE as a coach since 2018. Joining the community for the love of fitness and friendships only an environment such as this can forge. She began her coaching at CFUE with a desire to improve the day of each athlete she coaches and support them in their fitness journey. The greatest reward is seeing athletes whose hard work in sweat equity is paid in full with gains in the gym. Missy is also a university professor and mom of two littles. When not in the gym, she loves to be outdoors or traveling to far away places.

Jeramy was a Flight Paramedic with 12 years of service in the Air Force. While in the military he received his CrossFit Level 1 and USAW Sports Performance coaching certifications. He began coaching at a Military affiliate in his free time and continued to coach even while deployed abroad. Jeramy separated from the Air Force in 2015 and is now the Head Coach at CrossFit Unknown Element.

In addition to loving everything fitness, Jeramy is a father of two and is an avid outdoorsman. He enjoys everything from hunting and fishing, to camping and rock climbing.

Coach - Jen Dougherty

Although not new to fitness, Jen is new to personal training and coaching after choosing to leave her career in July of 2018 as a project manager for a consulting engineering and construction management firm to pursue both her passion for fitness and helping others. Her first introduction to fitness was at the early age of 7 when she started competing in the sport of gymnastics. Her enthusiasm and success as a young gymnast afforded her the opportunity to compete on the NCAA Division I gymnastics team at the United States Air Force Academy. During her time in college she fell in love with lifting weights and eventually went on to compete in 4 different National Physique Committee amateur bodybuilding shows from 2011 to 2013. It was during this time that Jen first learned about CrossFit and started trying out a few WODs on her own. It was not until November of 2018 before Jen officially joined her first CrossFit gym and decided to become a coach shortly thereafter. When she is not in the gym coaching or training herself, she enjoys spending time with her partner Mike and cat Nighthawk, expanding her knowledge, reading, and watching Netflix!

Brittney Massengale

Healthy Steps Nutrition Certification

Brittney received her Masters Degree in Marine Biology from the University of Oregon in 2012. After moving back to her hometown, and being unable to practice marine biology, she began pursuing other passions. Her love for the study of life resulted in an interest in physical fitness and nutrition. After being a member of CrossFit Unknown Element for 2.5 years Brittney joined our team. She is our Client Success Manager and encourages and supports our members through personal phone calls and cards.

In January 2020, Brittney completed the Healthy Steps Nutrition training and joined our nutrition team. She is very passionate about teaching individuals how to fuel their body in a way to help them reach their goals. Brittney also keeps our members and community stocked with fresh produce from her garden. She enjoys anything outdoors, especially when it revolves around water.

Coach - Elliot "E" Ford

Elliot has been a Journeyman Electrician for the last 19yrs and has always loved fitness. He got his first gym membership when he was 16 and never looked back, he started running marathons then competed competitively in triathlons for 5yrs before discovering CrossFit in 2014 and fell in love! Deciding to further his love of fitness and help others, he received his level 1 in 2019 and is on his way to getting his NASM CPT certification. Aside from all things fitness, E loves art and building things, also getting outside with friends for hunting, snowboarding among other things! He is happily married and has 4 great kids.

Coach - Sherrie Nymeyer

Sherrie is a Mechanical Engineer with 14 years of civil service for the Air Force. She manages a team of project managers and construction inspectors responsible for a hefty construction program on the base. She joined CFUE on its opening day in Feb 2014 and underwent an internship program before becoming a coach in May 2015. Sherrie is the primary Olympic weightlifting coach for Unknown Element Oly Club, and the coach you will most likely experience if you brave the early A.M. class!

When she isn’t working on base or coaching at the gym, Sherrie enjoys competing in Olympic weightlifting. She also enjoys attending competitions to coach other athletes as they compete. She enjoys a full house with her daughter, one ginger hunk coupled with two bonus kids, two dogs and one cat. She enjoys camping, rock climbing, hiking, going to breweries or wineries, girl time and the summer!

Sam discovered CrossFit in 2013 and loved the fitness aspect, but it’s the community that really kept her coming back. After completing her B.S. in Corporate Fitness at the University of Missouri, she moved to Clovis in 2016. She joined as a member at CFUE and shortly after completed the internship program to further her knowledge and become a coach! Sam also has a love for nutrition and using her passion to help others. After coaching for 2 years and running the nutrition program, she accepted the position as GM to continue to pour into the amazing coaches and community here at CFUE.

Outside of life at CFUE, Sam loves to spend time with her sweet husband, perfect pup Bella, and amazing friends. You can often find her reading, cooking delicious meals in the kitchen, traveling, spending time outdoors, and making the most of her time in Clovis.

Coach - Will Boulter

William is currently an Air Traffic Controller, stationed at Cannon AFB. Will originally started as a member of CFUE, before transitioning to a coach in January of 2019. Will loves to train specifically in Olympic Weightlifting, and is very passionate about it. He loves to share that passion not only in coaching Olympic lifting to gym members, but really enjoys helping athletes out of comfort zones and trying new challenges in their fitness journeys.

Adding to his love of Weightlifting, Will enjoys playing group sports whenever he can get the chance, all sorts of music, and riding his motorcycle.

Coach - Casey Sweeney

Casey has been in Clovis for almost 4 years. He is active duty Air Force and has been a coach with us at CFUE since 2017. He played hockey most of his life and tried Crossfit in college and has been hooked ever since 2014! He has coached while deployed on 2 deployments. He has his Crossfit Level 1 certification and is currently working on his National Academy of Sport Medicine Certified Personal Trainer and Nutritionist certifications! In his spare time you can find Casey either riding his motorcycle, working with his dog, or camping!

Greg was an Air Transportation Craftsmen in the United States Air Force for 7 years. He currently serves as an Air Force reservist as well. While serving multiple deployments, he received his CrossFit Level 1 Certification along with multiple ISSA certifications. He began his coaching career as a personal trainer at Cannon Air Force base that transitioned over to CrossFit coaching once he received his CrossFit level 1 Certification. Greg then opened CrossFit Unknown Element in February 2014. He could not have done it without the help of many friends and family supporting him. Greg also enjoys going to school full time to increase his knowledge.
