What Brought you to CrossFit in the first place?
I wanted a change in my workouts...and my family had been pressuring me to try it for years! LOL
What was your first impression? How has that changed?
Entering the gym the first time was super intimidating. Everyone seemed to know what they were doing except for me. Since coming to class I've gained more confidence in myself and made great workout buddies :)
What was your First "bright spot" or happiest moment?
Not that long ago I went to Oly-lifting day and was able to do a snatch WITH WEIGHT ON THE BAR! I was so excited I couldn't stop smiling.
What are you working on now?
Nutrition is a big part of my focus, and lifting technique. I will get the snatch down consistently...one day. I'm pumped for Barbell Club this month as well as the additional nutrition coaching.
What's your favorite CFUE memory?
The first day, after the consult, there was a member who smiled as she left for her run and told me to "Have a great day!" She's known to be one of the friendliest members, but she made me feel so comfortable and ready to come back for Foundations.
