What’s CrossFit?

We focus on improving functional movements that are necessary and common in your daily activities. It is important to us that you never get bored. With our constantly varied programming you will rarely do the same workout twice in any given year. You will never have to program your own workouts or spend hours in the gym. Instead, each day a workout will be provided for you that is scalable to suit your fitness level.

CrossFit workouts are composed of constantly varied functional movements (like pushing, pulling, squatting, lifting, running) executed at high intensity. You will not find rows of treadmills and weight machines. Instead you will find pull-up bars, kettlebells, barbells and wide open space for squatting, running, jumping, climbing, lifting and throwing. Every training object imaginable utilized at a high intensity to develop the broadest fitness level possible. Variation and systematic training keep our athletes from plateauing within our training structure.

Our community at CrossFit Unknown Element is comprised of members from all walks of life; it includes members of our military special forces, full-time moms, doctors, lawyers, police officers, fire fighters, business executives, elite athletes, and retired grandparents. Regardless of how you earn an income or your current fitness level, you will benefit from the coaching at CFUE.

CrossFit’s greatest quality, however, is that it is easily adaptable to men and women of all fitness levels and ages.  Businessmen, housewives, teachers, children, high school and college athletes, and even grandparents will all complete the same workouts but at their own level of intensity. Having a coach there throughout your whole workout, to make sure your movements are right and safe is something you need to experience. Having a great community to help motivate you through a tough workout makes this experience the whole package.

Why CFUE?

We understand people. We take the time to know you. We get to know what really matters to you and how we can help to achieve it. When you walk into any typical gym you will notice that few people actually communicate. There’s not a real sustainable community there, you pay a membership for convenience. At our gym you pay for great workouts along with a great community. These people care when you don’t show up for a few days to make sure everything is ok. These people care if you spend the holidays alone. These people help each other whenever they can. It’s both fitness and making you better along with the best community you could possibly find.
